Magnitudesigns is especially designed technical
journal for academicians and research engineers,
with a focus on the knowledge curve. With

March 2008, FEKO appoints ni2designs as
it's Sales and Technology Partner in India

EMSS has appointed ni2designs as their
Business Partner in India to promote their tool
FEKO for FEM and Microwave Engineering. To
streamline FEKO product in Indian EM market
Gronum Smith, M.D., EMSS South Africa recently
paid a visit to ni2designs office in India,
along with their technical team.
ni2designs will be responsible for distribution
and proving technical support for the tool in
India. For this we have set up a very new cell
comprising of technical persons in the field of
EM, RF, Microwave, FEM, Fluid dynamics, etc.

February 2008, SystemCrafter joins hands
with ni2designs |

SystemCrafter Ltd has rewarded ni2designs
with Asia Pacific Distributorship of
SystemCrafter software tool for Electronic
System Level (ESL) modeling.
“The ESL world is rapidly seeing a heave in
SystemC usage not only for system modeling but
also to add hardware concepts to C language.
“said Manoj Menghrajani, Manager EDA,
ni2designs. “And to facilitate the integration
of SystemC and HDLs we are introducing System
Crafter in India. This would provide industry
standard means of modeling and verifying
hardware and systems using standard software
compilers.”

December 2007, First Batch of 20-sim Asia
Pacific Training Completed Successfully |
| |
20-sim workshop offered in-depth technical
training on Dynamic Modeling and Simulation,
providing with practical 'How-To' tutorials and
labs.
The workshop also comprises hands on experience
using the newest 20-sim tool and compatible ARM9
development boards.
Lectures, hands on lab, interactive discussion
and best practices were presented during the
workshop to ensure technical and professional
success.
We also highlighted case studies which outline
real world results and best practices to help
engineers achieve current and future modeling
and simulation technological goals.

Lucknow |

ni2designs organized a 2 days workshop on
"VLSI Design" with association Electronics
Department of IET, Lucknow. Mr. Vinay
Sharma of ni2designs was the main presenter for
the workshop. Workshop was graced by Director of
IET Dr. K. Raja Gopal, , Dr. Bharti Dwivedi, Dr.
S. Bhattacharya, Dr. S.P. Tripathi, HOD of
Electronics dept Dr. V.K. Singh, and organizer
Dr. M. Madhavi Latha.

of its beta version of 20-sim. The new version
is enhanced with better graphics and supports
now Microsoft Vista.

ni2designs adds one more feather to its cap with
"Magnitudesigns" |

ni2 family proudly presents the first edition
of its own technical journal "Magnitudesigns".
Magnitudesigns is especially designed for
academicians and research engineers, with a
focus on the knowledge curve. It will be
quarterly magazine with loads of technical
literature on various engineering topics with
excellent graphics and technical contents.
Magnitudesigns will not be available on any
stands for sale at least not for now; and a copy
of Magnitudesigns will be provided FREE of cost
to every University in the Asia Pacific rim,
whoever requests. We are targeting a 6000+
copies being distributed free for the first
issue. This is our unique way of saying a big
thanks to all teachers and professors who helped
shaping our careers, and also to serve the
nation with helping nascent engineers in making.

Technical Training of 20-sim at Bangkok in Nov. 2007 |

ni2designs and 20-sim are are jointly
arranging a training program for 6 days on
Dynamic Simulation Modeling focused on
mechatronics and precision engineering for the
professionals, engineers, researchers and
academicians in the Asia Pacific rim. The training program is intended for
scientists and engineers who want to use 20-sim
for modeling and simulation to analyze the
dynamic behavior of systems. The focus is on
using 20-Sim as tool for model based design in
large design projects and the encapsulation of
knowledge in re-usable model libraries. The
course has an engineering level with the focus
on practical applications.

Application Interface of 20-sim with ARM9 |
| |
ni2designs now brings you Real Time
Application Interface of 20-sim using ARM9 based
prototyping board (TS-7260). This board can be
easily interfaced with 20-sim software for
execution and testing of Real Time Application
Interface (RTAI) of dynamic models. With
powerful ARM9 processor you can run complex math
crunching models which is not possible on other
series of processors available. TS-7260 will
accompany with 'ForSee' tool chain, which can
Connect, Configure, Command and Control the
board through Ethernet port. 'ForSee'
tool chain
is developed by 20-sim developers used for
porting dynamic models from 20-sim on the
RTLinux OS of the TS-7260 board. |
